Biomedical Science

The Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MSBS) is a one-year, full-time, non-thesis graduate program designed to provide advanced education in the biomedical sciences through an integrated and applied curriculum. The program develops foundational and translational knowledge in anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and related disciplines while promoting critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and professional development.

The curriculum prepares students for careers in healthcare, biomedical research, biotechnology, and education and supports students seeking advanced preparation for professional programs including medicine, dentistry, physician assistant studies, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, and related health professions.

Students complete a year-long faculty-mentored research experience that serves as the program’s capstone requirement.
